Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 small chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 - shallots
- 3 cups red cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- - chopped chives for garnish (optional)
How To Make chicken & cabbage

Step 1In a small bowl, combine the caraway seeds, allspice, salt and pepper. Use this blend to season the chicken.

Step 2In a skillet that has been sprayed with cooking oil, cook the chicken over medium heat for about 10 minutes on each side; set aside.

Step 3For the sauce, use the same skillet and add olive oil to the hot pan. Saute shallots for 2 minutes. Then add the shredded cabbage, chicken stock, vinegar, and brown sugar.

Step 4Turn the heat to medium-high and cook, stirring, until the cabbage is coated with glaze.

Step 5Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes more (or until no longer pink inside). Garnish with choppedf chives.
