My family loves chicken and dumplings and there are several different recipes for it. It a dish that must be served at all of our big family gatherings like holidays.

Ingredients
- 4 - chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 - onion
- 1 cup carrots
- 1 package chicken bouillon
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 1 - canned buttermilk biscuits
How To Make chicken and dumplings

Step 1Place clean Chicken (Bone in) and other ingredients into a 4 quart crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours and turn down to low setting for another 6 hours.

Step 2After 8 hours: Remove Chicken from crockpot and pull from bone. Then pull chicken into pieces and return to crockpot. Stir well into mixture.

Step 3Drop packaged biscuits into mixture and continue cooking until dumplings are no longer raw in the center. Note; Delicious served with Cornbread
