This is absolutely one of my favorite recipes. It is a go-to recipe for a gathering of friends, super for lunch, and a great snack to have with crackers. My favorite way to eat it is on a jalapeno cheddar wrap. It also goes really well with wheat thins or any whole grain snack cracker. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c
    cubed chicken breast
  • 2/3 c
    dried cherries
  • 1/3 c
    celery
  • 1/3 c
    apple, chopped small
  • 1/3 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mayo (i like to use light)
  • 2 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How to Make Cherry Chicken Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, cherries, celery,apple and pecans.
  2. In a seperate bowl, combine remaining ingredients to make the dressing.
  3. Pour dressing over chicken mixture and toss to evenly distribute.
