Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenderloins
- 2 tablespoons light olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- (I GO LIGHT ON THE GARLIC POWDER, 1/4 TSP, ADD MORE IF YOU LIKE!)
How To Make cast iron chicken tenderloins
-
Step 1Mix all the spices together in a small bowl and set aside.
-
Step 2Prepare the chicken tenderloins by removing the white tendon carefully with a sharp knife.
-
Step 3In a bowl coat the chicken with the olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture on all sides of the chicken. Turn until well coated.
-
Step 4Heat a cast iron pan on medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 3 minutes. The chicken will start to brown, and the inside will start to turn white. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for 3 more minutes. Chicken is done when internal temp reaches 165 degrees. DO NOT OVER COOK!
-
Step 5These chicken tenderloins are moist and delicious! Serve as a main dish with your choice of sides. Great in salads too!
