This is a wonderful salad if you love Buffalo Chicken. Much healthier than deep fried wings this salad is easy to put together in just a few minutes and the flavors are amazing.

Ingredients

2 large
boneless chicken breasts cut in strips
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1/2 c
franks red hot sauce
2 Tbsp
butter
4 c
leafy greens or romaine lettuce
1/2 small
red onion sliced in half rounds
1 medium
carrot grated
2 stalk(s)
celery
1 c
cheddar cheese grated
bleu cheese dressing

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut chicken breasts into strips, season with salt and pepper and add to heated olive oil in a large saute pan. Cook until no longer pink - about 2-3 min per side.
  • 2Add the hot sauce and butter. Cook for about 5 min to reduce sauce.
  • 3Meanwhile wash the greens or lettuce and arrange on plate, scatter the onion, carrot, celery and cheese on the lettuce. Add hot chicken pieces and drizzle with bleu cheese dressing.
