If you like broccoli, chicken and a creamy sauce, you will absolutely love this dish! My husband especially loved this recipe. The curried sauce makes this dish an absolute "treat"! I got it from a friend 30 years ago and when I serve this over rice, everyone compliments me on how great it tastes!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 - whole chicken breasts
  • 2 (10 oz) packages frozen broccoli
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2/3 cup mayonaise
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
  • - dry bread crumbs

How To Make broccoli-chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    Boil chicken in water until tender. Remove skins, if any. Cut into chunks.
  • Step 2
    Cook 2 packages frozen broccoli until tender according to package directions.
  • Step 3
    Mix in a medium-sized bowl: can cream of chicken soup mayonaise evaporated milk grated cheddar cheese lemon juice curry powder
  • Step 4
    Place all of the broccoli in a lightly oiled pyrex or casserole dish. Place chicken chunks on top of broccoli. Pour mixture on top.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle bread crumbs on top of mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
