Ingredients

  • 4-6
    boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 c
    italian seasoned panko
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    dry oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1
    envelope of italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil

How to Make Breaded Italian Chicken Breast

Step-by-Step

  1. pound each breast to about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. in med bowl or pie tin mix dry ingredients
  3. in a separate bowl beat eggs
  4. dip chicken in eggs then dredge in breadcrumb mixture
  5. heat oil on med heat and cook chicken breast until golden brown on each side. about 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. we like to make chicken parmesan sandwiches with them. Toast some buns in the oven with a little bit of garlic butter, melt mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken before removing from your pan, add a little bit of your favorite spaghetti sauce and enjoy.
