Ingredients
- 7-8 pounds turkey
- 2 cups real maple syrup.
- 2/3 cup whiskey
- 1/4 cup liquid smoke
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
- 4 teaspoons mustard,your choice.
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt.
How To Make bob's smoky maple glazed turkey.

Step 1Rinse turkey inside and out. Pat dry.after you remove giblets. In a large bowl mix all ingredients and mix well.Put turkey in a large plastic bag. Pour marinade over the turkey. Let turkey marinade over night.

Step 2pre-heat grill for med-high heat. You will be grilling on indrect heat.Put a drip pan under the turkey.. I stuff the turkey with onions and ornges. You may or may not want to, works well eather way.I add cherry and apple wood to the fire when grilling. You will cook the bird for 6-7 hours.

Step 3While turkey is cooking, in a large sauce pan pour left over marinade,simmer till 1/2. In the final hour of cooking brush turkey with marinade.. You want meat thermometer to read 170-180 when fully cooked. When done, remove to a plater. Let rest 15 min. Befor carving..
