I like to do a few pieces without the skin for myself, but everyone else in the family really loves it with the skin on.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup ground blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 - 3 pounds chicken pieces

How To Make baked sesame chicken

  • Step 1
    Place the melted butter in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine the milk and egg in a shallow dish; stir well.
  • Step 3
    Combine the flour and the next 6 ingredients in a bowl; stir well.
  • Step 4
    Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  • Step 5
    Place the chicken, skin side up, in the prepared pan. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until the chicken is done.
