Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast tenders
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cashews

How To Make all day cashew chicken

  • Step 1
    In a large Ziploc bag, combine the flour and pepper. Add chicken. Shake to coat with flour mixture.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken about 2 minutes on each side. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes; pour over chicken.
  • Step 4
    Cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. Add cashews and stir. Serve over rice, spooning sauce over chicken and rice.
