A burger is always something quick and easy but the taste is always the same. I try to change burgers around for the season or just for my taste for the day. But this burger is great just like it is..

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces of any meat you like ( pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, beef etc)
  • 1 small shallot minced
  • 1/16 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/16 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/16 teaspoon cinnamon
  • - pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon sun dried tomatoes
  • 1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper

How To Make albondigas burger

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl add 2 tbsp of hot water and add to the sun dry tomatoes for 1 minute; making then lightly soften. Drain and set; aside.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile add your meat of choice to a med bowl, add all spices, shallots and soften tomatoes. Mix well; form 2 patties and let rest for 2-3 minutes. To let the spices blend in the meat( red meat choice 3 minutes)
  • Step 3
    Cook until no longer pick for white meat and desire doneness for red meat.
  • Step 4
    Serve with slice avocado and wilted spinach..optional
