Ingredients

chicken thighs
1 lb
pork, cut into bite size pieces
1
head garlic, cruahed
1
bay leaf
peppercorns, whole black
1 c
white vinegar
1/2 c
soy sauce
5 Tbsp
cooking oil (optional)
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 c
water

How to Make Adobo Chicken and Pork

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put chicken and pork in a cooking pan. Add garlic, vinegar, water, bay leaf, peppercorns, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • 2Cover pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until most of liquid is gone. Add the cooking oil and mix together (optional).
  • 3Serve with rice.

    Can be made with all chicken or all pork if desired.
