I make these as regular-sized burgers, but the sliders are fun, too. They're healthier than beef burgers, and the fresh rosemary adds such a nice flavor to them!

How To Make 3-mustard & rosemary turkey sliders

  • Step 1
Preheat grill to HIGH for 10 minutes. [Internet stock photo]
  • Step 2
Put Panko crumbs and milk into a small bowl. Stir to mix well. Let soak 10 approx. minutes, until crumbs are saturated.
  • Step 3
Put turkey, rosemary, Panko mixture, mustards, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well with hands or wooden spoon, until well-combined.
  • Step 4
With clean hands, form into 6 large patties, or 12 small slider patties.
  • Step 5
Clean grill w/ a wire brush. Using a soft cloth, coat grill grate lightly with vegetqable oil. Place burgers on grill; reduce heat to MEDIUM. OR: use a coated grilling basket. Sear for 3 minutes, until meat has changed color one-quarter of the way up from the bottom. Turn over burgers; cook 3 minutes on second side. Turn over again, and cook 6 - 8 minutes, until internal temp. reaches 165 degrees. Check internal temp. by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of burgers. [Internet stock photo]
  • Step 6
Place cooked burgers on slider or burger roll bottoms. Drizzle with about 1 Tbsp. savory sauce; top with slice of Gruyere cheese. Top with a piece of lettuce. Close sandwich, and serve. [Internet stock photo]
  • Step 7
If you don't have "Savory Finishing Sauce" (Wegman's sells it), this is what's in it ... you can concoct a sauce on your own: Unsalted Butter, Balsamic Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Tomato Paste, Water, Sugar, Ginger, Salt, Dried Onion. You could probably use a Hoisin Sauce, or something similar. [This photo is from the Wegmans site ... not my photo!]
