This is an easy meal. I take it to reunions and never come home with any. Many ask for the recipe. Try it if you like sauerkraut.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground sirloin
1 lb
bob evans orig. sausage
1/2 c
minute rice
1
egg, beaten
1 medium
onion chopped small
1 bag(s)
sauerkraut
salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Sauerkraut & Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients, except sauerkraut. Make into meatballs 1 1/2 to 2" round. Set aside.
  • 2In a crockpot, place 1 bag of kraut (rinsed, its always salty). Put the crock pot on low.
  • 3Add the meatballs on top of kraut and cover. Let cook for six to eight hours, on low.
