Ingredients
- 1 - store bought pie crust
- 2 - chicken breast
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 bag pre cooked cubed potatoes
- 1 bag frozen veggies (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 - onion, diced
- 1/2 stalk celery, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup milk
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 1 pinch thyme
How To Make family style chicken pot pie

Step 1Boil the chicken breasts in the chicken stock, about 30 mins..add the diced potatoes for another 5.remove and dice the chicken.

Step 2In a skillet add butter, onions & celery saute about 5 mins..add in the flour cook 5 mins. add the milk, then the shredded chicken, potatoes, frozen veggies & broth.

Step 3combine well, pour into a pie dish, top with the pie crust & brush with egg wash, make a few slits and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 mins or until golden brown.
