Raining yesterday so spent the day going through Moms ground beef recipes, found this one added a few ideas of my own, and made it for dinner last night, hubby loved it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound groundbeef
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (my addition diced)
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup caned tomatoes (drained)
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon cumin (my add)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder (my add)
  • 1 cup shedded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen corn ( my add)
  • - homemade biscuits (i used cheddar)

How To Make hamburger cobbler

  • Step 1
    In heavy skillet brown ground beef, onion, garlic, and salt and pepper. Drain pour into a 9" square casserole dish.
  • Step 2
    Top with tomatoes and corn. Mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, chili powder, and cumin pour over tomatoes and corn.
  • Step 3
    Put cheese on top, Mix up biscuits an place by spoonful's on top of cheese.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
