chicken & dressing casserole
This home style meal is great for leftover chicken or turkey. My aunt use to make this when we were children and it has always been one of my favorites. I like to have it with fresh green beans and cranberry salad! Hope you enjoy as much as I have. I plan to add a picture when I make this again.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 8 ounces bag of seasoned dressing mix
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons rubbed sage or to taste
- 1 can cream of chicken or celery soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
How To Make chicken & dressing casserole

Step 1Stew chicken, chop/shred when cooled, save broth Sauté onions, celery, and sage in one stick butter. Add 1 1/3 cups of chicken broth to can of soup. Mix with dressing, chicken, sautéed vegetables ( add more chicken broth if it looks too dry). Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2Pour into 11x13 sprayed pan. Cut small pieces of butter on top ( sometimes I use a half stick or whole stick, your preference) Bake at 350 until browned ( about 30-40 minutes).
