We love this with a good cornbread! My hubband is extremely ANTI foods that he thinks should not be sweet, which he considers beans to be inedible if they're sweet; he saw me putting Brown sugar in these the first time I made them and made up his mind he'd hate them. Instead he ate them in huge bowlfuls and is now a believer. Lol

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 cup prepared mustard
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can white beans in tomato sauce (often labeled as "vegetarian beans"

Step 1Fry bacon until crisp, then drain, crumble or chop

Step 3Add beef to pan and cook until beef is browned.
