baked ravioli and cheese - decadent
This dish is very easy and so delicious. It tastes like the most decadent mac and cheese you have ever had. The top should be brown and a little crusty from the cheeses. You can add variations such as basil or mustard or spinach in the sauce or the layers. Change it up with some ground chicken for more protein. These are ingredients you might have already and it really isn't fussy. No need to cook the ravioli if you use the frozen variety. ENJOY!

- 1 bag frozen ravioli thawed in fridge
- SPRITZ spray oil
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 cup half and half (or milk)
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Step 1SPRAY A CASSEROLE PAN (8X10) DEEPER ONES ALLOW FOR MORE LAYERS

Step 2MIX COTTAGE CHEESE, MILK AND EGG, POUR A THIN LAYER INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN.

Step 3ADD 1 CUP OF CHEDDAR CHEESE AND 1/2 CUP OF THE PARMESAN CHEESE TO THE MILK MIXTURE

Step 4PLACE ONE LAYER OF THE THAWED RAVIOLI, POUR A LAYER OF MILK/CHEESE MIXTURE, REPEAT LAYERS.

Step 5ADD A FINAL LAYER OF THE REMAINING CHEDDAR AND PARMESAN CHEESES ON THE TOP.

Step 6BAKE UNCOVERED AT 350 FOR 45 MINUTES UNTIL BROWN ON THE TOP. (DEPENDING ON YOUR OVEN)
