How To Make you might b a burger if..

  • 1
Slice apricot (18 slices total) and put in your saved juices from a favorite spicy jar of pickles; let sit at least 40 minutes
  • 2
To make the blue cheese spread, finely chop walnuts, add blue cheese and chives, mash with fork until combined and set aside
  • 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine burger patty ingredients (red wine last), form into 6 equal size patties (about 1⁄3 pound each) and place in the fridge/cooler to marinate
  • 4
Heat the grill, place burger patties on the grill and cook about 6 minutes on first side, flip, and cook another 4 minutes until medium done
  • 5
Top with blue cheese mixture, cover and cook another 2 minutes or until melted
  • 6
While burgers are cooking, toss brussels sprouts in olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt and pepper, and cook in a pan until nice and crispy
  • 7
Additionally, while burgers cook away, cook 12 strips of bacon and drizzle with honey and fresh cracked black pepper until desired crispiness
  • 8
When burgers are done (about 145 degrees Fahrenheit internal) place buns on the grill to get toasted while the burgers rest
  • 9
In a small bowl combine ketchup and horseradish, and start to assemble burgers
  • 10
On the bottom bun, put a layer of the spicy ketchup spread, place 3 slices of pickled apricot, 1 large butter lettuce leaf, a layer of crispy Brussels, a burger patty and 2 slices bacon on the bottom bun
  • 11
Smear the spicy ketchup on the top bun and place it on top of the burger and serve
