Greek Turkey Burgers with Spiced Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients

1 lbground turkey (i use the thigh mead, not as dry as the breast when cooked)

1/2 cfeta cheese crumbles

2 tspdried oregano

1/2 tspdried thyme

1/2 tspground black pepper

2 tspolive oil
-
1/4 cplain yogurt
-
1/4 tspground cumin (or to taste)

·salt, to taste

4hamburger buns, toasted (i use whole-wheat)

·lettuce, tomato slices and cucumber slices, for topping (optional)
How to Make Greek Turkey Burgers with Spiced Yogurt Sauce
- In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta, oregano, thyme and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat until hot. Add the patties and cook 5 minutes per side, or until burgers are cooked through.
- Season yogurt to taste with cumin, salt and remaining pepper.
- Serve the burgers on the buns and top each with 1 tablespoon of the yogurt mixture. Garnish with toppings, if desired.
