  • 1 lb
    ground turkey (i use the thigh mead, not as dry as the breast when cooked)
  • 1/2 c
    feta cheese crumbles
  • 2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    plain yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cumin (or to taste)
  • ·
    salt, to taste
  • 4
    hamburger buns, toasted (i use whole-wheat)
  • ·
    lettuce, tomato slices and cucumber slices, for topping (optional)

How to Make Greek Turkey Burgers with Spiced Yogurt Sauce


  1. In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta, oregano, thyme and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat until hot. Add the patties and cook 5 minutes per side, or until burgers are cooked through.
  3. Season yogurt to taste with cumin, salt and remaining pepper.
  4. Serve the burgers on the buns and top each with 1 tablespoon of the yogurt mixture. Garnish with toppings, if desired.
