Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey (i use the thigh mead, not as dry as the breast when cooked)
- 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (or to taste)
- - salt, to taste
- 4 - hamburger buns, toasted (i use whole-wheat)
- - lettuce, tomato slices and cucumber slices, for topping (optional)
How To Make greek turkey burgers with spiced yogurt sauce

Step 1In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta, oregano, thyme and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 4 patties.

Step 2Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat until hot. Add the patties and cook 5 minutes per side, or until burgers are cooked through.

Step 3Season yogurt to taste with cumin, salt and remaining pepper.

Step 4Serve the burgers on the buns and top each with 1 tablespoon of the yogurt mixture. Garnish with toppings, if desired.
