How To Make greek lamb burgers
-
Step 1In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb with 1/2 c of the Feta cheese, the fresh mint, fresh dill, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
-
Step 2Form the mixture into 4 patties.
-
Step 3Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties on one side for 7 minutes.
-
Step 4Flip the burgers. Cook another 7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
-
Step 5Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and set aside. Drain the oil from the skillet. Brush the buns with olive oil.
-
Step 6Place the buns cut side down in the skillet and griddle until they are golden brown and toasted.
-
Step 7To dress the burger, stack the arugula or other lettuce and two slices of tomatoes on each bottom bun.
-
Step 8Place each lamb burger on top of the tomato. Add about 1 Tbsp Tzatziki sauce and a sprinkle of Feta cheese on each.
-
Step 9Add the top of the bun and serve with Kalamata olives on the side.
