How To Make crazy good turkey burgers
-
Step 1Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan, add the celery and onions. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook until the vegetables have softened. Set aside to cool.
-
Step 2While the celery and onions are cooling, in a large bowl mix the turkey, cracker crumbs, milk, mayonnaise, and beaten egg together.
-
Step 3Then add the cooled celery and onion mixture. Mix well.
-
Step 4Divide the turkey mixture into 4 balls and shape into patties. Place on a plate covered with wax paper and cover patties with another sheet of wax paper. These patties are very moist. Refrigerate for at least an hour to help them set up a bit.
-
Step 5When ready to cook, in a fry pan over medium heat add 2 additional tablespoons of oil. When the oil is shimmering, carefully add the patties and cook until browned on each side. About 10 minutes a side. Internal temperature of 165 degrees.
-
Step 6We like these served on a bun with lettuce and tomato and a little more mayo. Very flavorful, moist, and delicious! Enjoy!
