Trying to eat less beef! Here's my moist and delicious Turkey Burgers! Hope you give them a try!

Ingredients For crazy good turkey burgers

  • 2 Tbsp
    light olive oil
  • 2
    celery ribs, peeled and diced very small
  • 1
    medium onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 18
    saltine crackers into cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 1 lg
    beaten egg
  • additional oil for cooking patties

How To Make crazy good turkey burgers

    Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan, add the celery and onions. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook until the vegetables have softened. Set aside to cool.

    While the celery and onions are cooling, in a large bowl mix the turkey, cracker crumbs, milk, mayonnaise, and beaten egg together.
  • All ingredients mixed together.

    Then add the cooled celery and onion mixture. Mix well.
  • 4 patties on wax paper.

    Divide the turkey mixture into 4 balls and shape into patties. Place on a plate covered with wax paper and cover patties with another sheet of wax paper. These patties are very moist. Refrigerate for at least an hour to help them set up a bit.

    When ready to cook, in a fry pan over medium heat add 2 additional tablespoons of oil. When the oil is shimmering, carefully add the patties and cook until browned on each side. About 10 minutes a side. Internal temperature of 165 degrees.

    We like these served on a bun with lettuce and tomato and a little more mayo. Very flavorful, moist, and delicious! Enjoy!
