Ingredients
- 1 pound chopd meat (i use chopd turkey)
- 1 - matzo board
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup matzo meal
- 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 1 medium onion, chopd
- 3/4 cup red wine (dry concord wine)
- 1 can tomato n mushroom sauce (i used reg tom sauce n 1/4 cup chopd mushrooms)

Step 1SOAK BROKEN MATZO IN 1/3 CUP OF WATER UNTIL ABSORBED. COMBINE WITH CHOPD MEAT, EGG, SALT N PEPPER. FORM MIXTURE INTO ABOUT 25-30 MEATBALLS...THE SIZE OF A WALNUT THEN ROLL IN MATZO MEAL.

Step 2HEAT SHORTENING IN LARGE PAN ADD MEATBALLS N ONION COOK OVER MED HEAT TILL LIGHTLY COLORED ON ALL SIDES.

Step 3IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE REMAINN INGREDIENTS N POUR OVER MEATBALLS... COVER N SIMMER FOR 15 MINUTES N ENJOY :)
