How To Make traditional meat loaves
-
Step 1Preheat Oven to 400. Line 15 1/2 x 10 1/2" jelly roll pan with parchment paper or foil. (I use my half-sheet pan also.)
-
Step 2In nonstick skillet (12") heat butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook till tender. Add garlic & cook a minute longer.Cool a little.
-
Step 3In large bowl (with your hands) mix turkey, beef, eggs, zucchini, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Add cooked onion mixture and combine thoroughly.
-
Step 4Shape into 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" loaves. Bake 25-35 minutes at 400 till browned on the ouside.I use my Weight Watcher's 1/2 cup measure serving spoon to get just the right size.
