Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - med. onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (15 oz )chopped tomatoes
- 1 can ( 15 oz ) tomatoe sauce
- 2 cups ( 16 oz ) small curd cottage cheese
- 2 - eggs
- 12 - corn tortillas
- 4 cups shreded monterary jack cheese or mexican blend cheese
- 1 can ( 4 oz ) chopped green chilis
How To Make texas lasagna

Step 1in a skillet cook and drain ground beef, add onions, salt, taco seasoning, tomatoes, tomatoes sauce, green chilis, and mix well, simmer on low for 15 minutes.

Step 2combine eggs, cottage cheese, and set aside.

Step 3in a greased baking pan 9x13" layer half of the beef mixture, then put 6 tortillas on top of that, then half of the cottage cheese mixture, then half the jack cheese. repeat the layers as above.

Step 4bake at 350 for 30 minutes, let stand for 10 minutes and enjoy.
