I've seen a lot of taco soup recipes, but I came up with this one spur of the moment. I don't even make chili anymore because it's just as easy to do this!

We eat this with a dollop of sour cream on top and tortilla chips.

1 lb
ground turkey/lean beef
1 can(s)
tomato sauce
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes
1 can(s)
black beans (drained, rinsed)
1 can(s)
pinto beans
16 oz
corn (canned or frozen)
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1/2 c
green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c
onion, chopped
1 can(s)
nacho fiesta cheese soup (optional)
sour cream
tortilla chips


1In pot, brown meat with green peppers and onions.
2When meat is browned, add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil.
3Reduce heat to medium/low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, or longer if desired.
4Serve with sour cream and tortilla chips.
