This is a delicious,quick, and easy recipe that the whole family will love! Even my little picky eater loves it because you can choose your toppings and dress up each bowl however you like! I even let my kids help me cook this!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 can(s)
    black beans
  • 1 can(s)
    sweet corn (whole kernel )
  • 1 can(s)
    rotel (diced tomatoes and green chillies)
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    ranch dressing mix
  • 1 pkg
    tortilla chips
  • 1 c
    your favorite cheese (grated)
  • 3 c
    hot water

How to Make Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the ground beef or ground turkey in a large stock pot.
  2. Drain excess fat or grease from ground meat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the meat and stir
  4. Stir in corn, black beans, and rotel.
  5. Add the 3 cups of water, stir well, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve in a bowl. Garnish with grated cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
  7. Optional Garnishes are sour cream green onions,and guacamole.
