taco chili burrito

Looking at chili recipes and decided to try and make a thick version to place in a tortilla and wrap up like a burrito! Success, I did it!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion,chopped
  • 1/2 large green bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 - taco pkt
  • 2 cans 15oz-diced tomatoes,totally strained
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • - burrito or flour tortillas

How To Make taco chili burrito

  • Step 1
    In a deep skillet or dutch oven, brown ground beef until no loner pink. Drain fat. Add in chopped onion and green pepper. Stir to incorporate.
  • Step 2
    While on med heat, Sprinkle Taco pkt . over the meat mixture. Using the empty taco pkt, fill with water and add to skillet. stir to incorporate. turn down to low.
  • Step 3
    Strain diced tomatoes totally. rinse and drain black beans. Add to skillet. Stir to combined. Turn up heat to med./low Stirring occasionally for at least an hour. It should simmer to reduce liquid. It should be thick enough to put into a Flour tortilla
  • Step 4
    Add shredded cheese ,green onion or sour cream. Fold up like A burrito . ENJOY
