Ingredients
- 6 - cube steaks
- 1 large onion
- 1 cup flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes 28 oz can
- 3 - cloves of garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup olive oil
How To Make rich and savory swiss steak

Step 1mix salt, pepper and garlic powder together and season the cube steaks. Dredge in flour and place in heated skillet with oil. brown on both side and remove.

Step 2add onion and garlic to skillet and cook briefly then add tomatoes, beef broth, onion soup mix and tomato paste. bring to a simmer and add cube steaks back to the sauce. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. stir occasionally

Step 3Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
