Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey (or half turkey & half beef)
- 1/2 cup onion (diced)
- 1 small bell pepper (diced)
- 2 teaspoons all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup dr pepper (or cola) i use diet pepsi
- 1/2 cup low sugar ketchup (regular is fine to)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- - pinch of salt
- 6 - whole wheat hamburger buns
How To Make surprise turkey joes

Step 1In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the turkey with the onion, & bell pepper. (drain)

Step 2add the remaining ingredients mix thoroughly. reduce the heat, & simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until thickened.

Step 3serve a scant 1/4 cup on each bun.
