This is a wonderful dish, and must be served and eaten with the fresh salsa. The cilantro, pepper and onion bring out the taste of the beef.
Served best with a garlic couscous and fresh cucumber salad.

Ingredients

  • 1
    beef flank steak
  • 1 bottle
    lawry's 30 min. teriyaki marinade
  • 1 large
    red onion
  • 1 large
    red bell pepper
  • 1 bunch
    fresh cilantro

How to Make Summer Teriyaki Steak

Step-by-Step

  1. Marinade the flank steak in marinade for at least 1 hour.
  2. Chop Onion, red bell pepper and cilantro (about 4 Tablespoons) and mix together, set aside.
  3. Grill flank steak to desired tenderness (medium rare is perfect for our family)
  4. Place juices from marinade and/or (depending on queasiness) remaining marinade in pot to boil.
  5. After letting steak rest, cut approximately 1/8" to 1/4" thick and lay on platter. Top with some salsa and remaining marinade.
  6. Serve with extra salsa and marinade, couscous and salad.
