This is a wonderful dish, and must be served and eaten with the fresh salsa. The cilantro, pepper and onion bring out the taste of the beef. Served best with a garlic couscous and fresh cucumber salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 - beef flank steak
  • 1 bottle lawry's 30 min. teriyaki marinade
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro

How To Make summer teriyaki steak

  • Step 1
    Marinade the flank steak in marinade for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 2
    Chop Onion, red bell pepper and cilantro (about 4 Tablespoons) and mix together, set aside.
  • Step 3
    Grill flank steak to desired tenderness (medium rare is perfect for our family)
  • Step 4
    Place juices from marinade and/or (depending on queasiness) remaining marinade in pot to boil.
  • Step 5
    After letting steak rest, cut approximately 1/8" to 1/4" thick and lay on platter. Top with some salsa and remaining marinade.
  • Step 6
    Serve with extra salsa and marinade, couscous and salad.
