Ingredients
- 2 - 8 oz flank steaks, cut about 3/4 inch thick
- 1 - loaf ciabatta or focaccia bread, sliced horizontally
- 8 slices tomato
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzerella
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper sauce
- 1 - clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon evoo
How To Make steak & cheese panini - italian style

Step 1Preheat grill on high heat for 15 minutes. Season steak on all sides with salt and pepper.

Step 2Grill the steak on high, about 8 minutes per side. Let rest about 20 minutes before slicing, thinly,on the bias.

Step 3Assemble on the bread as follows: Spread each slice of bread with 1/2 the mayo, then top the bottm slice with steak, Cheese, salt, pepper, EVOO, pepper sauce, basil, & tomatoes and garlic. Top with the other slice of bread.

Step 4Reduce grill to medium heat and cook sandwich for 2 mintues on each side, until cheese is melted.
