This freezes well.surprize company with home made sausage. My husband grandparents escaped and came across the Atlantic the beginning 1900. They brought this recipe to Dickinson, ND got free land set up a farm and made everything from scratch, raising 10 children.

1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
cracked black pepper
1 tsp
ground cumin
1/4 tsp
savory season
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1/2 tsp
celery powder
1/2 tsp
fennel seed
1/2 tsp
chili flakes
1 tsp
sage, dried
1 tsp
marjoram, dried
1/2 tsp
turmeric, ground
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp

How to Make Spicy Beef SAUSAGE


  • 1MIX all spices together. ADD ground beef and blend well.
  • 2ROLL sausage in 5 X 1 1/2 inch logs, ROLL up with foil, close ends. REFREGERATE up to 24 hours to let flavors season.
  • 3HEAT oven. BAKE 350 for 30 minutes on cookie sheet WITH the foil on.
  • 4(you can make patties and cook sooner if desired also beef can be 80/20 or lean also this is very good remove from foil and lightly fry...serve with breakfast, dinner, on a bun.)
