Ingredients
- 1 - egg white (beaten)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon dry sherry
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 pound beef - inside round or flank steak
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 1/2 cups sliced broccoli stems - cut diagonally into very thin slices
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets - cut lengthwise
- 1 cup sliced fresh white mushrooms
- 4 - green onions - thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
How To Make spicy beef & broccoli stir-fry

Step 1Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Add beef. Stir. Cover. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature, stirring occasionally.

Step 2Combine next 4 ingredients in small bowl and set aside.

Step 3Heat large frying pan or wok on medium-high until very hot. Add cooking oil. Add broccoli stems and garlic. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4Add next 3 ingredients. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes until broccoli florets are tender-crisp. Transfer to separate medium bowl. Cover to keep warm.

Step 5Add second amount of cooking oil to hot frying pan. Add beef mixture. Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until beef is cooked how you like it. Add soy sauce mixture and broccoli mixture. Stir-fry until heated through. Serves 4
