smothered patties with onion au jus

Tired of the same old hamburger or ground beef meal. Add a little kick, to the dish. As remember this can be a quick, "Honey my Boss is coming to dinner" or The In-laws are stopping bye" meal. lol We all get something like hat every once in a while.. :) You can serve this with steamed green beans with butter spray and mash sweet potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium slice thinly onion
- 3/4 clove water
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- - nonstick cooking spray
How To Make smothered patties with onion au jus

Step 1Shape ground beef in to 4 pattes about 1/2-inch thick and 4-inch i diameter. Sprinkle with salt.

Step 2Add patties to a large skillet coated with cooking spray, over med-high heat. Cook patties for 3 minutes on each side or until not longer pink.

Step 3Add onion and cook 3 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Set aside with the patties.

Step 4Add the remaining ingredient to the skillet. Bring to boil and continue boiling for 4 minutes. Return the patties and onions to skillet. Turn patties several time so coat well and cook 1 minute longer to heat through.
