Smothered Patties with Onion Au Jus
You can serve this with steamed green beans with butter spray and mash sweet potatoes.
- 1 lb
- extra-lean ground beef
- 1/8 tsp
- 1 medium
- slice thinly onion
- 3/4 clove
- 2 tsp
- beef bouillon granules
- 1 tsp
- worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp
- instant coffee granules
- 1/8 tsp
- nonstick cooking spray
How to Make Smothered Patties with Onion Au Jus
- 1Shape ground beef in to 4 pattes about 1/2-inch thick and 4-inch i diameter. Sprinkle with salt.
- 2Add patties to a large skillet coated with cooking spray, over med-high heat. Cook patties for 3 minutes on each side or until not longer pink.
- 3Add onion and cook 3 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Set aside with the patties.
- 4Add the remaining ingredient to the skillet. Bring to boil and continue boiling for 4 minutes. Return the patties and onions to skillet. Turn patties several time so coat well and cook 1 minute longer to heat through.
