Ingredients

1 1/2 lbbeef stew meat

2 Tbspcooking oil

2 mediumpotatoes, peeled and cubed-- 2 cups

2 mediumcarrots cut into 1/2 " pieces --1 cup

1 mediumonion slicd into thin wedges

1/2 ccelery - sliced
-
1 pkgfrozen cut green beans (9 oz)

1 Tbspinstant beef bouillon granules

2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
3/4 tspdried thyme, crushed
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1 can(s)tomatoes (16 oz) cut up

1 1/2 cwater
How to Make Slow Cooker Irish Stew
- Cut meat into 1/2-inch cubes.
- In a large skillet, brown meat, half at a time, in hot oil. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, in a 3-1/2-, 4-, 5-, or 6-quart crockery cooker, combine potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery. Add frozen beans, bouillon granules, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in browned meat, undrained tomatoes, and water
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on high-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours. Makes 6 servings.
