Ingredients

  • 32oz packages precooked, frozen meatballs (you could use turkey meatballs)
  • (1) 13.5oz cans unsweetened pineapple chunks (put juice a side)
  • 1 large green pepper, diced
  • 1 cup brown sugar (used slpenda brown sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

  • Step 1
    Place meatballs in crock pot and top with green pepper and drained pineapple chunks.
  • Step 2
    In a separate bowl, mix reserved pineapple juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and soy sauce.
  • Step 3
    Pour sauce over meatballs, pineapple and green peppers.
  • Step 4
    Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through.
  • Step 5
    Serve over rice.
