Another of my fathers recipes. He would make this for a Sunday dinner and I always looked forward to the wonderful aromas and the succulent taste of this roast.

Ingredients

2-1/2 lb boneless beef chuck roast
1
24 oz jar sweet pepper pasta sauce
3 large
carrots, cut into 1-1/2"-thick slices
1 large
onion, cut into quarters

Step-By-Step

1Place all ingredients in slow-cooker. Stir gently. Cover, cook on high for 6 hrs, or on low for 8 hrs, stirring occasionally.
