At the age of 13 my church started having an annual chili cook off challange and I won best over all on taste heat and apparence. I have been competeing ever since.

Ingredients
- 5 lbs - ground chuck
- 2 1/2 tablespoons cayene pepper
- 2 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 1/2 tablespoons seasoning salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 6 tablespoons your choice of hot sauce (krystal is what i use)
- 2 sprigs fresh basil
- 1 jar chunky salsa
- 3 cans chili ready beans
- 3 cans chili ready diced tomatoes
How To Make slap yo momma good chili

Step 1Turn crock pot on low heat and pour in beans tomatoes and hot sauce. ( do not drain cans)

Step 2Brown ground chuck with a pinch of all seasongings for added flavor. Drain meat.

Step 3Add in ground chuck and all seasonings to crock pot mixture. Leave on low setting until desired heat.
