Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef (90/10)
- 15 ounces no salt added diced tomatoes pureed in blender
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup green pepper, finely diced
- 1/2 cup red bell, finely diced
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 4 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons worchestshire sauce
- 4 ounces tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon bold & spicy mustard
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- - pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make sloppy joes

Step 1Simmer peppers and onions in small amount of olive oil till tender. Add minced, canned diced tomatoes. Add 1 tsp of paprika, cumin, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, and worcestshire sauce, mix together well, add ground beef.

Step 2Cook on med. high till beef is done, (about 20 min.). Mix together tomato paste, and 1/2 c. of water, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt, pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, lemon juice and mustard, mix well. Add to beef and simmer for about 10 min more. Serve on toasted bun.
