15 oz
no salt added diced tomatoes pureed in blender
1/2 c
onion, finely diced
1/2 c
green pepper, finely diced
1/2 c
red bell, finely diced
4 tsp
chili powder
1 tsp
2 tsp
4 tsp
granulated garlic
1 tsp
coarse sea salt
1 tsp
black pepper
2 tsp
worchestshire sauce
4 oz
tomato paste
1 tsp
bold & spicy mustard
4 Tbsp
brown sugar
pinch nutmeg
1/2 tsp
lemon juice

How to Make Sloppy Joes


  • 1Simmer peppers and onions in small amount of olive oil till tender. Add minced, canned diced tomatoes. Add 1 tsp of paprika, cumin, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, and worcestshire sauce, mix together well, add ground beef.
  • 2Cook on med. high till beef is done, (about 20 min.). Mix together tomato paste, and 1/2 c. of water, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt, pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, lemon juice and mustard, mix well. Add to beef and simmer for about 10 min more. Serve on toasted bun.
  • 3A yummy alternative it to turn it into a grilled cheese sammie, just delicious!
