This is a wholesome recipe to easily be made in the crock pot for days that are too hot to cook. My family loves carrots, so, it is one of our favorite down home crock pot recipes. And is Full of Pot Roast Flavor.

lipton onion soup mix

can tomato sauce

How to Make Simple Swiss Steak in a Crock


  • 1Cut Steak into 4-5 serving pieces. Dredge in flour.
  • 2Place carrots in bottom of slow cooker or crock pot. Top with steak.
  • 3Combine soup mix, tomato sauce, and water. Pour over all.
  • 4Cover. Cook on Low for 8 - 10 hours. Or according to your slow cooker.
  • 5Excellent with Mashed Potatoes.
