I love shepard's pie but never feel like taking the time to make it. This recipe was the answer to my prayers. It's super tasty, enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    medium onion diced
  • 3
    12 oz jars heinz homestyle beef gravy
  • 1 Tbsp
    beef base
  • 6 Tbsp
    heinz chili sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    green giant vegtable mix
  • 1 box
    betty crocker four cheese potatoes
  • ·
    paprika (optional)

How to Make Shepard's Pie for Dummies!

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven 375. Cook ground beef and onion until done, drain. While browning hamburger prepare box of potatoes as directed, both pouches.
  2. Now mix hamburger, gravy, beef base or bullion, chili sauce and veggies. Bring to a simmer for a few minutes. Place meat mixture into a 9x13 baking dish or you can place in individual baking dishes. Spoon potatoes over the top of the casserole and sprinkle with paprika.
  3. Bake for 20-25 mins.
