Savory Beef

Ingredients
-
·1 1/2 pounds of stew meat or sirloin tips

·1 can french onion soup
-
·1 envelop lipton savory herb soup mix
-
·1 8oz can tomato sauce
-
·1/2 cup chopped onion
-
·1/2 cup of you favorite mushrooms, (i use a combo of white and portabella)

·3 cloves of garlic minced
-
·1/2 cup of red wine or beef broth
-
·3 oz of cream cheese
-
·olive oil for browning
How to Make Savory Beef
- In a bowl combine the Lipton mix and wine, whisking until the mix is dissolved. Add the French Onion soup and tomato sauce
- Brown the meat in the olive oil. Add the onion and mushroomns and saute until the onions are translucent.
- Pour sauce mix over meat and simmer for about an hour and 15 minutes. Add the cream cheese and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes until cheese has melted. Serve over rice or noddles
