I came up with this dish one night when trying to think of a different way to fix sirloin tips. It can be fixed on the stove or in a crockpot. If using a crockpot, cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Happy eating and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- - 1 1/2 pounds of stew meat or sirloin tips
- - 1 can french onion soup
- - 1 envelop lipton savory herb soup mix
- - 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- - 1/2 cup chopped onion
- - 1/2 cup of you favorite mushrooms, (i use a combo of white and portabella)
- - 3 cloves of garlic minced
- - 1/2 cup of red wine or beef broth
- - 3 oz of cream cheese
- - olive oil for browning
How To Make savory beef

Step 1In a bowl combine the Lipton mix and wine, whisking until the mix is dissolved. Add the French Onion soup and tomato sauce

Step 2Brown the meat in the olive oil. Add the onion and mushroomns and saute until the onions are translucent.

Step 3Pour sauce mix over meat and simmer for about an hour and 15 minutes. Add the cream cheese and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes until cheese has melted. Serve over rice or noddles
