My daughter wanted perogies for her birthday and she also wanted my Sausage and sauerkraut sammiches! So I thought, why could'nt I combine the 2! I did, they were GONE even my husband and oldest son ate the heck outta them and they both HATE sauerkraut!!

Ingredients
- PEROGIE DOUGH
- 8 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups warm water
- FILLING
- 1 - 13oz pkg hillshire farm polish sausage diced fine
- 1 cup sauerkraut drained and rinsed
- 1 pound pepperjack cheese shredded
- 1 medium purple onion diced
- 1 tablespoon mayo
- 3 slices bread torn to pieces
How To Make sauersausage polish perogies

Step 1Combine dough ingredients, mix well, cover and set aside while making your filling

Step 2Dice meat, rinsed sauerkraut, onions fry until onions are translucent, cool and add to shredded cheese. Tear up bread, add mayo and mix very well

Step 3Fill each perogie dough with about 1 tablesppon of filling, seal. Boil until they float, remove from water and place on greased cookie sheet

Step 4heat pan with oil to 350* and fry for about 1 minute on each side.
