ro's macaroni and smoked ham salad
I made this pasta salad as a side dish for a function at our local bar and everyone fell in love with it. Now I make a big bowl, sit it on the bar, and walk away. I watch everyone go for it and watch the smiles on their face as they eat it. And believe me, there is never none left when we leave. This recipe makes a lot and can be cut down for family meals. This can be either a side dish or a main course. It is simple and easy to make so I hope you try and enjoy it. I have made this with regular diced ham if I didn't have a ham already smoked.

How To Make ro's macaroni and smoked ham salad
-
Step 1Cook macaroni as per directions. After the macaroni is done rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Cool it off before adding the other ingredients.
-
Step 2Dice green onions and tomato. Chop smoked ham into small bite-size chunks.
-
Step 3Place into a bowl with the cooled macaroni and mix.
-
Step 4Add half of the Miracle Whip, pepper, and celery seeds to the macaroni mixture.
-
Step 5Chill. Let sit for a few hours (or overnight).
-
Step 6Before serving add more of the remaining Miracle Whip to the salad since the macaroni absorbs the dressing. Mix well and serve.
