Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds beef brisket
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke, optional
  • 1 - bay leaf, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make roast brisket bbq

  • Step 1
    Rub meat with salt. Place in ungreased baking pan, 13x9-inch. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat. Cover tightly and bake in 325 degrees oven for 3 hours, or until render. Makes 10-12 servings.
