This recipe is just amazing. Even if you're not a fan of blue cheese, it's a must. So please don't omit it, you wont be sorry!

Ingredients

  • 2 - ribeye room temp
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • dash salt
  • dash pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 - large yellow onion
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced (or as much as you like!)

How To Make rib-eye steak with blue cheese and onion sauce

  • Step 1
    Salt and pepper both sides of the steaks. Grill in 2 tablespoons butter until medium rare.
  • Step 2
    Saute onions in 4 tablespoons butter over high heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until dark and caramelized. Reduce heat to simmer and pour in cream. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Stir in blue cheese until melted.
  • Step 3
    Serve steaks on generous portion of sauce.
