A very simple dish that is good over white rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds peas, frozen or fresh
  • 2 - carrots sliced
  • 1-1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 - onions minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can 8 oz can tomato paste
  • - salt, pepper & allspice to taste
  • 1 cup water

How To Make pea stew

  • Step 1
    Saute chicken & onions in the butter until slightly golden.
  • Step 2
    Add the water, seasonings, peas & tomatoe sauce.
  • Step 3
    Cover & simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken & peas are tender.
  • Step 4
    Serve over white rice.
