This is one hearty chili. With all the different beans in this recipe it's packed with flavor and delicious. There's just enough heat for this to have a kick. Bring this to your next tailgate and you'll be the all-star of the day. The Test Kitchen

Ingredients

lean ground beef
1 small
poblano or jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 large
onion, chopped
1 large
green bell pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp
minced garlic
2 can(s)
Bush's chili beans, medium, 16 oz.
2 can(s)
Bush's chili beans, hot, 16 oz.
2 can(s)
kidney beans, canned (dark and light), 16 oz.
1 can(s)
black beans, 15 oz.
1 can(s)
pinto beans, 16 oz.
1 can(s)
tomato sauce, large, 28 oz.
1 c
picante sauce, medium
2 Tbsp
Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
A-1 sauce
2 Tbsp
light brown sugar (or to taste, but you need some!)
chili powder, cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to taste

How to Make OMG Chili

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef with chopped poblano or jalapeno pepper, onion, green bell pepper and garlic. Drain the fat off when browned.
  • 2In a large pot, add all ingredients together. Simmer for 2-3 hours, minimum. Taste frequently and adjust your ingredients to your taste.
  • 3Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

    Serve with my cornbread recipe or your favorite cornbread, crackers or fresh bread.
